How to submit a podcast to the main platforms out there

Updated over 4 months ago

Distribute your podcast to as many different podcast platforms as you like, using our one-click and RSS Feed methods. Give your podcast maximum distribution possibilities by syndicating to all the major platforms, quickly and easily.

DISTRIBUTE YOUR PODCAST IN ONE CLICK WITH SPREAKER

One-click distribution allows you to distribute to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Castbox, Deezer, Podcast Addict, Podchaser, JioSaavn. Below you’ll find out how you can submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts but the process is similar for all the distribution platforms you can find on the Distribution page.

SUBMIT A PODCAST TO APPLE PODCASTS

  1. Create the Apple ID for free (if you already have one, go to step 3).

  2. Verify your new Apple ID by accessing it on your Mac, iPhone, iPad or iTunes on PC.

  3. Visit your CMS dashboard

  4. Select the podcast you’d like to publish

  5. On your podcast's left-hand side panel, select the ‘Distribution’ option.

  6. To the right of ‘Apple Podcasts’, select the drop-down arrow and click ‘Submit

For the next steps, we’ll walk you through to complete your submission via Apple Podcasts Connect - don’t worry though it’s super simple. Once your podcast has been submitted it’s just a matter of waiting, as soon as your podcast is accepted or rejected, you’ll receive an e-mail, either way, confirming the outcome.

PODCAST DISTRIBUTION TO PANDORA AND OTHER LOCATIONS

Distributing your podcast using your RSS Feed is easy too and also allows you to reach podcatching platforms such as Pandora.

To find your RSS Feed:

  • Go to your podcast's page, on the CMS.

  • On the left side click on RSS Settings

  • Your RSS feed will be displayed and you can copy it from this screen:

You will also be able to customize the metadata further in comparison to the standard RSS feed we automatically create. To do so, go to your dashboard and click on the Podcasts tab. From there, click on the View and Edit button over your podcast of interest and select Podcast Settings.

Note: If you don’t know exactly how to customize your podcast's feed, please read this complete tutorial: Spreaker podcast’s feed and how to customize RSS.
When your RSS feed is ready for submission you can submit your podcast’s RSS feed.

Remember that you can submit your Spreaker's RSS feed to any platform you like out there accepting this kind of format.

For example, you can start distributing your podcast to Pandora from here, and to Overcast from here.

IMPORTANT:
Depending on the distribution platform, it could take a few hours for your podcast to be accepted.

Once your podcast is finally on Apple Podcasts or any other outlets, you don't need to do anything else once you are publishing a new episode on Spreaker. It will be automatically distributed!

But, again, please be patient because it's up to the platform to detect the new episode in your Spreaker RSS feed, and this could take a few minutes or a few hours.
