Question about Normalizer

When we record live, our live listeners say our audio levels are great, but
as soon as we publish it, the sound of our vocals drops but our commercials
and intro are plenty loud.

We've tested this many times and it seems that Spreaker is adjusting our
audio as soon as we press publish. Is there a setting that i'm missing?
Ever since our show got accepted to iHeart it seems like our audio is being
adjusted more.

We don't use the Normalizer in Spreaker because we all have mixers to do
that ourselves, but it's still happening somehow.

    Hello Justin,

the sound of our vocals drops but our commercials and intro are plenty loud.

When you broadcast live (with any application, from web to mobile) the published podcast is the exact same mp3 file recorded while live.

Commercials are no more supported on Spreaker, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Intro works in a different way: it's another file, whose volume is not normalized with your track, that's played before your track. Intros get normalized when uploaded, and they're normalized according to an overall average volume, but it could be different than your track volume.

Thank you for clarifying Marco, it's not a huge deal we can adjust I just
didn't know what was going on. We have our own commercials that we run, so
it's just like playing an intro file, same thing.

We'll make changes and it will work out just fine I'm sure. I just wanted
to make certain I didn't have a setting turned on in the settings of my
    spreaker account or something.

Hope things are going well with iHeart by the way, it's been pretty great
    for us.

    Sounds good!

Things with iHeart are wonderful. Has been a great opportunity for both and
we're working on a stronger integration between us. New exciting upcoming
features will be released in a month.

I'm so happy to hear that. I love the progress you guys are making a
Spreaker, the moves you're making are just great. We at LiveSpeak Radio are
110% behind you. Hopefully we will have control over our iHeart profile
sometime soon, that's been killing us not knowing any statistics and not
being able to correct a typo on our iHeart profile or something like that.

But so far, it's been a pretty seemless integration and I'm just proud and
happy to be a part of it, I've worked my butt off just to get to this
point. I am excited to see what comes next, keep up the good work and let
me know if you ever think about sponsoring some shows on Spreaker, we have
a fantastic sponsorhip package we just got put together. We represent
Spreaker very well, we do the tutorial videos and we recommend and promote
Spreaker all the time, it would be a great idea if Spreaker sponsored us or
did some paid advertising with us. Just something to think about. No
pressure what so ever, it's on the table and we're always looking. We have
yet to nab our first sponsor and it would be amazing if it was the people
who made it all possible, what a fantastic story it would make.

Ok that's enough of my sales pitch for one night. Take care and I can't
wait to see what you guys come up with next!
