Baked - a live read that stays within a podcast indefinitely (also called embedded).

CPA - Cost per action/acquisition (CPA) is an online advertising marketing strategy that allows an advertiser to pay for a specified action from a prospective customer (aka sign ups). Doing a CPA campaign is relatively low risk for the advertiser, as payment only has to be made when a specific action takes place.

Cue Points/Markers - ads inserted/placed within episodes (usually midrolls).

Dynamic Insertion - audio ads automatically inserted into podcasts via cue points.

Dynamic Read - a podcast read advertisement recorded separately from podcast that is inserted into the show cue points/markers via an ad server.

Flat/CPM Rate - a flat rate is a cost that is the same in all cases (aka the flat rate cost of 1 live read per episode).

Make-Good Live Read - podcast made an error on previous read and advertiser is requesting a new read to correct. If a make-good is not processed, the advertiser will not pay for incorrect read.

Programmatic Advertising: - automated buying and selling of audio ads within a marketplace

MidRoll - audio ad or live read in the middle of a podcast.
